Dear fellow Queers:

It is deffinately happening in California.  I got the email below in my inbox today and am so extatic. There is a major business in California that agrees with us.  THey are more than happy and ready to see the laws change and continue to allow gays and lebians all over California become legally married.

So if you are a PG&E customer, tell them thank you when you send in your payment next time.

Michael

Dear Michael,

We’ve got big news!

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) has made a quarter million dollar contribution to the

No On Prop 8 campaign to defeat the ballot measure that would single out

same-sex couples and exclude them from marriage.

In a news conference held Tuesday, PG&E Senior Vice President of

Public Affairs Nancy McFadden also announced the corporation would

become a founding member of the Equality for All Business Council

in support of the No On Prop 8 campaign and called on other businesses to

follow their lead in supporting fairness, freedom, and equality for all Californians.

We are thrilled to partner with PG&E to ensure that the laws of our state

are not used to treat people unfairly. Across California, individuals and

businesses like PG&E are pledging to vote NO on Prop 8 because they

know it’s wrong to single out one group of people to be treated differently.

It is important that we show our thanks and support for businesses, like PG&E,

when they do the right thing.  Please take a moment to call them and

say thank you.  They can be reached at 1-800-743-5000.

And, please, forward this to a friend.

Sincerely,

Dale Kelly Bankhead
