Hello all.  My name is Marie and I am a journalism fellow at the University of Southern California.  I am writing about the state’s political trends and Prop 8 for a national journalism project.  In Tulare County, the 2008 Prop 8 vote was 75 percent in favor.  It is my desire to profile a Tulare LGBT couple about life in a county that strongly supports Prop 8.  I would like to meet members of the LGBT community who live amidst anti-LGBT sentiments, and how their neighbors are, or are not, coming around to a greater acceptance of LGBT rights.  I can be reached at GoodNewsCA@gmail.com.  Any insight wold be greatly appreciated.  Or, if you know of any people or groups in Tulare that would be good resources, please let me know.
