Visalia Landmark Reborn

Long-time Visalia landmark eatery Mearle’s is close to beginning a new lease on life (of sorts) when the building, after extensive remodeling, becomes home to The Habit Burger.  In the final stages of the remodel, the expected opening is sometime in September 2011.  Signs on the property were directing people to apply for employment, and interviews were held recently.  The Habit Burger’s folks have presented the below rendering of the new business.

It’s getting close.  Folks who have eaten at other Habits have reported the food is pretty good.  I just hope the ghost of Mearle’s rests easy in the new digs.
